A reputable law firm in Downtown Orlando is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Litigation Paralegal with strong experience in both Plaintiff and Defense litigation. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of litigation procedures, be proficient in e-discovery, and demonstrate the ability to manage complex caseloads independently. Key Responsibilities:
Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to coordinate case strategy and evidence collection Draft and prepare legal documents including motions, affidavits, and discovery responses Conduct legal research and provide written analysis on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law Manage all aspects of discovery: drafting, responding, indexing, and coding of discovery requests and subpoenas Prepare, organize, and maintain case files—both electronic and hard copy—including pleadings, exhibits, depositions, and trial documents Assist attorneys in trial preparation; may attend trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed
Required Qualifications:
Paralegal Certificate or Degree or minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience Proficient in e-discovery processes and tools; experience with Reveal or Relativity strongly preferred Solid understanding of Florida and U.S. District Court procedures and filing requirements, including e-filing Demonstrated experience in all phases of litigation: intake, discovery, pretrial, and trial Experience supporting trial/arbitration logistics including vendor/client coordination and on-site setup Familiarity with document production software and litigation support platforms
