The paralegal will be bilingual, being fluent in English and French. The paralegal’s duties will mostly relate to family-based immigration cases and waivers, as well as employment/investor/entrepreneur-based cases for both nonimmigrant and immigrant cases. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working at an immigration law firm and handling immigration cases. The successful candidate must possess strong communication skills and attention to detail. Effective communication, organization, and case management skills are vital. The candidate must be able to perform basic legal research, prioritize workload, analyze information and documents with keen attention to detail in an expedient manner. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, positive person who can work independently and genuinely enjoy helping others with a sincere interest in promoting the rights of immigrants.
