Job Description

Seeking to hire an experience Legal Assistant that specializes in commercial civil litigation, drawing on the extensive and varied experience of its trial attorneys. We have a client that handles a broad spectrum of matters, including breach of business contracts, dealership and distributor disputes, consumer fraud claims, and cases involving breach of warranty and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (MMWA). Duties

  • E-filing State and Federal Court
  • General commercial litigation
  • Preparing and submitting service emails of pleadings
  • Organizing and maintaining the firm’s electronic files
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings, depositions, court appearances, and travel
  • Drafting correspondence and legal documents
  • Assisting attorneys with time and billing, when needed
  • Assisting attorneys in preparing for depositions and hearings
  • Working independently to prioritize assignments
  • Requesting reimbursement for travel and filing related expenses
  • Assisting with the preparation of trial exhibits
  • Answering calls from clients, witnesses, and vendors Benefits include:
