Hatch Global Search Kissimmee, FL Job Description A Trust and Estates Administration Paralegal supports probate attorneys by managing various aspects of estate planning, trust administration, and probate. This includes drafting legal documents, managing client communications, preparing financial statements, and assisting with estate tax returns. Trust and Estates Administration Paralegal Our client is seeking a Full-time Trust and Estate Administration Paralegal with at least 5 years of experience for its Long Island office. The candidate will work closely with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and accountants and should have excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills, including Excel. Paralegal Certification from an ABA-approved program is a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
All phases of trusts and estates administration. Strong knowledge of Surrogate’s Court rules and procedures (e.g., probate, administration, accounting proceedings) is essential. Familiarity with preparing estate tax returns is preferable.
Qualifications Requirements:
At least 5+ years relevant experience. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks. Keen attention to detail. Ability to work with large document intensive cases. Proficient in Lexis, Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Excel and ADOBE Acrobat Professional. Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate. A true team player who takes initiative and ownership of work product and pride in maintaining client relationships.
