We represent clients in South Florida, throughout the United States, and all over the world. Most of our cases involve Family and Employment based Green Card applications, Fiancé Visas, Work Permits, Student and Tourist Visas, FOIA requests, FBI Background Checks, Criminal Record and FLHSMV Record Requests, Immigrant and Nonimmigrant Waivers of Inadmissibility, VAWA applications, Changes of Status, Naturalization applications, Appeals, Humanitarian Reinstatement, Family and Employment based consular processing cases, and more. We are looking for a bi-lingual paralegal to work closely with our clients and our team to file and manage the above listed cases. We work with the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Labor, the Department of Justice and the Department of State to obtain the best possible outcomes for our clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting attorney with managing immigration case load, ensuring compliance with new and ever-changing policies, laws and regulations. Drafting and reviewing legal documents and forms, including petitions and applications, while maintaining detailed notes. Assisting clients in completing forms and affidavits, and providing support in English and Spanish to our attorneys and clients. Organizing case files and managing deadlines, ensuring timely case submissions and follow-ups. Collaborate with attorneys to prepare clients for USCIS and Embassy interviews, and maintain effective communication with clients.
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages. Experience in immigration law and legal case management preferred. Experience with Docketwise caselaw management software is a plus! Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and document review skills. Familiarity with Outlook, Word, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, USCIS online accounts. Ability to conduct thorough research and maintain organized files. Must be a team player and willing to answer phones and assist office colleagues as necessary with administrative tasks and case work.
