Legal Assistant 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars Jericho, NY Our client, a well-known Personal Injury Law Firm on Long Island, is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their team in Jericho, NY. Specializing in Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Worker’s Compensation, Mass Tort, and more, this full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys in a supportive role.
Main Responsibilities/Requirements:
Provide assistance to attorneys throughout the claims process. Handle tasks such as initial client consultations, policy review, assessment of supporting documentation, and preparation of claim submissions. Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills are essential. Experience with No-Faults, medical requests, and drafting pleadings is preferred. Prior experience at a Personal Injury Law Firm is highly desirable. Bi-lingual abilities are a bonus. Must have strong computer skills and the ability to multitask. Comfortable working in an office setting on a full-time basis.
Salary:
55-70K plus benefits
