Overview Seeking a sharp, detailed‐oriented Legal Secretary / Assistant to support a boutique family‐office legal team. This is a temp role, offering an excellent opportunity to convert into a full‐time, permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities Filing & Organization:
Maintain legal files—document indexing, sorting, archiving, and retrieval Help prepare and update trust, estate, and corporate documents
Administrative Support:
Manage mail and correspondence Schedule appointments and assist with calendar coordination Format and proofread legal documents and correspondence
Project Assistance:
Support ad hoc organizational projects—scanning, database updates, file audits Assist paralegal with routine legal tasks and file preparation
Family Office Exposure:
Prior experience working in a family office or supporting high‐net‐worth clients is a plus Requirements Proven experience as a legal secretary or assistant in a legal or family‐office context Excellent file‐management skills Strong communication skills (phone, email, in‐person) Detail‐oriented and able to multitask in a fast‐paced environment High discretion with confidential and sensitive information Preferred Familiarity with trust, estate, and corporate filings/documentation Experience in a family‐office or HNW setting Paralegal certificate, legal secretarial training, or equivalent Help for Employer Information.
