Litigation Paralegal Law office of Harry J. Ross 6100 Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL 33434 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law, including Securities Law, Workers Compensation Law, and Environmental Law. This role requires excellent phone etiquette, the ability to transcribe legal documents accurately, and proficiency in legal case management. The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings. Duties Conduct thorough document review and analysis to support ongoing litigation cases. Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Transcribe legal correspondence and maintain organized files for easy access. Manage case calendars and deadlines to ensure timely filings and compliance with court rules. Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts while maintaining professionalism. Perform legal research as needed to support case strategies. Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is current and accurate. Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the department. Requirements Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal administrative role. Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedures. Familiarity with Securities Law, Workers Compensation Law, Environmental Law, or other relevant areas of law is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in document review techniques and legal case management software. Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field is preferred but not required.
