Job Description:
As a Debt Settlement Negotiator, you will engage with creditors on behalf of our customers to negotiate reductions in balances and establish sustainable payment plans. Your ability to build relationships, leverage negotiation tactics, and understand financial challenges will be key to helping our customers achieve their debt resolution goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage directly with creditors to negotiate reductions and debt settlements. Secure and structure payment plans that are manageable for customers and acceptable to creditors. Advocate on behalf of customers, presenting their financial circumstances to obtain the most favorable terms possible. Maintain professional and effective communication with all parties involved throughout the negotiation process. Keep detailed records of negotiations, settlements, and agreements for each customer. Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and effective debt resolution process for customers.
Requirements:
Proven experience in debt negotiation, collections, or related roles. Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to manage multiple negotiations and deadlines simultaneously. Knowledge of financial products, debt settlement processes, and creditor relations. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • High level of professionalism, patience, and empathy when dealing with creditors
