We’re hiring a paralegal to assist our probate department inpreparing legal documents, filing pleadings, coordinating lawoffice activity, and conducting legal research. Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with clients to gather information abouttheir legal issues
- Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents areproperly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative dutiesas needed
- Help lawyers by assisting with client meetings, filingpleadings, coordinating hearings, conducting research, andorganizing and scheduling conferences.
Qualifications:
- ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as anAssociate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegalstudies, Bachelor’s degree desired
- Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal programstrongly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills
- At least 3 years of experience in legal services under anattorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
- Talented communicator and writer
