Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
o Under the direction of the Corporate Counsel for Real Estate(CCRE), resolve routine legal issues. o Under the direction of the CCRE, prepare (or assist in thepreparation of) real estate legal documents (including, but notlimited to, right of first refusal agreements, easement agreements,lease amendments, memoranda of leases, subordination andnon-disturbance agreements, owner’s affidavits, closing statementsand exhibits) for closing as well as any other documentationrequested in the curative memorandum. o Review and analyze ground leases and contracts. o Review and analyze title reports/commitments and seek and curetitle defects o Coordinate real estate closings. o Under the direction of the CCRE, review, analyze and organize avariety of legal matters, including due diligence. o Review executed closing documents from property owners andprepare file for Senior Management review and full execution. o Correspond with third party vendors to obtain additionalinformation. o Under the direction of the CCRE, follow up with ground lessors,vendors, and outside counsel on a variety of legal matters. o Coordinate dissemination of documents to various departments o Ensure fully executed documents are submitted to the titlecompany for recording. o Ensure material related to each transaction is scanned into theproperty management database. o Quality control review for ground lease related documents andinformation. o Maintain and distribute various trackers and logs. o Ensure acquisition expenses related to each transaction areprocessed and coded to the closing file. o Oversee the coordination of lease extension requests with RealEstate Administrators. o Prepare letters, memos and reports. o Other projects and duties as assigned.

Experience:
o AA or Paralegal Certification required. o Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and proceduresof real estate transactions o Must demonstrate advanced knowledge and ability to work with MSWord, Excel, Power Point and ability to learn Dynamics CRM. o Experience with a variety of the practices and proceduresassociated with real estate closings, title, and zoning. o 5+ years of paralegal experience. o Excellent written, interpersonal, analytical and problem solvingskills.
Language Skills:
o Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence andmemos.
Mathematical Skills:
