Full Job Description Job Summary:
Plaintiff’s civil litigation law firm based out of St. Petersburg for the past 30 years is seeking a new front desk receptionist. Help us help people! We represent people who are injured or ailing, so a compassionate demeanor is a must. We are open Monday through Thursday 8:30 to 5pm and Fridays 8:30 to 2pm. We are a busy, statewide practice so punctuality, efficiency and the ability to multi-task are required attributes of any applicant. Daily responsibilities include answering the phones and directing calls, opening, sorting and scanning the mail, faxing letters, and helping our team of legal assistants and attorneys do their jobs. We love to promote from within when possible, so there is room for growth here for especially hardworking applicants. Benefits include health, dental, 401K, liberal PTO, and almost every holiday off with pay. Applicants who are fluent in Spanish are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to proofread documents for accuracy
- Professional appearance and demeanor
