Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with a strong background in contracts, litigation, and intellectual property (IP) to provide support to two attorneys. The ideal candidate will have experiences with contracts, litigation, and IP. You will be a key player in the legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive paralegal support as it relates to contracts, litigation, and IP. Edit and format contracts. Maintain document management system. Manage and organize files, litigation case materials, company documentation, and legal correspondence. Assist with the preparation and filing of court documents in federal and state courts. Conduct legal research and cite-check briefs using tools such as Westlaw. Assist in maintaining trademark docket and run preliminary USPTO searches. Coordinate with outside counsel, vendors, internal stakeholders, and internal staff. Maintain calendars Ensure compliance with deadlines and internal policies.

Qualifications:

Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience required. Minimum of 3-5 years of contracts, business litigation, or IP paralegal experience. Familiarity of Florida state and federal court procedures, and also with PACER and Florida state court docketing systems. Familiarity with USPTO procedures is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, document management systems, electronic signing platforms such as DocuSign, Adobe Sign, Panda Doc. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask under tight deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.

Preferred Skills:

Experience supporting USPTO litigation. Experience with IP docketing software.
