• Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or Paralegal Certificate, preferred but not required
• Canditates with proven experience in real estate will also be considered
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Doubletime or real estate closing program, preferred
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience in evictions, probate and foreclosure proceedings, preferred but not required “`Duties“`
• Assist attorneys in preparing all legal documents required for commercial and residential real estate transactions
• Examining and clearing title requirements and lender requirements
• Manage real estate escrow account
• Prepare, manage and organize files, including tracking timelines
• Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare legal correspondence
• Electronic filing with Clerk of Courts
