A Paralegal collaborates with attorneys to perform various legal/compliance-related tasks including not limited to document drafting, research, and support during legal proceedings. This position plays an essential role in assisting attorneys with legal/compliance matters by leveraging knowledge and skills in legal/compliance-related issues.
Responsibilities:
(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.) General Legal/Compliance Administration Duties Read and analyze incoming memos, letters, and reports to determine their significance and distribute appropriately. Create and maintain legal/compliance document and related internal process. Organize and coordinate all legal/compliance matters including discover process (document production, interrogatory responses, and affidavits etc.). Assist with compliance tracking ensuring the company meets regulatory requirements. Manage legal databases, filings, and document organization. Generate and distribute litigation hold orders directed by lawyers. Assist with preparation and retention of legal/compliance related documents. Coordinate and deal with invoice routing and monitor payments. Enter and maintain in-house/outside counsel information in automated system. Generate and edit contract-based documents and maintain contract management system via M365 or IT system. Aid in drafting, collecting or compiling legal documents and contracts, as well as organizing and managing documents. Maintain department calendar and prepare agendas for meetings. Perform general administrative duties such as but not limited to; filing, photocopying, taking and distributing meeting minutes, managing schedules, coordinating travel arrangements, scheduling appointments with internal and external parties, sorting and distributing correspondence and maintaining database records. Prepare affidavits or other documents, such as legal correspondence, and organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing system. Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, and real estate closing statements. Prepare for trial by performing tasks such as organizing exhibits. Meet with clients and other professionals to discuss details of case. Gather and analyze research data, such as statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, and documents.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, paralegal studies or related field At least 3-5 years preferred experience in related field. Prior experience in the field of legal setting is a plus.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Proven knowledge of the Legal/Compliance field Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally and to explain legal issues to all levels of management Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Para Legal or in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing factory, warehouse or logistics environment. Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills. Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and principles. Willing to collaborate, share knowledge, respond quickly to urgent matters, and execute proactively. Ability to understand and embrace the company’s core values, corporate goals, mission, and priorities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal management software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of manufacturing factory and/or warehouse operations and regulations is a plus. Attention to detail and accuracy.
