Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Pooler, Georgia. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a strong corporate background who can effectively manage deadlines and ensure the organization of legal and regulatory processes. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and track legal documents, forms, and regulatory filings to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Utilize Office 365 tools, including Microsoft Excel and document tracking features, to manage spreadsheets and document changes.
- Coordinate between legal, insurance, and regulatory departments to streamline processes and maintain compliance.
- Maintain department organization by managing schedules, tracking forms, and ensuring efficient workflows.
- Support the legal director by providing accurate information and resolving inquiries with a proactive approach.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment on legal matters.
- Monitor and update regulatory requirements to ensure adherence to corporate standards.
- Manage and track documentation for various legal and regulatory projects.
- Provide administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling and correspondence.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within legal functions and implement solutions. Requirements
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar legal support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel and document tracking tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with legal, insurance, and regulatory procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and tracking.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Corporate background with demonstrated ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
