The Atlanta office of a global law firm has an immediate needfor a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal. This is a permanentposition in a highly sought after firm! This paralegal will join ateam of attorneys whose clients include commercial developers,investors, lenders and brokers across the country. Candidates musthave a thorough knowledge of commercial real estate loan documentswith extensive title and survey experience. We are looking for aself-starter with a full understanding of commercial real estatetransactions who can multitask and manage critical deadlines.

Responsibilities will include: Performing due diligence Drafting,reviewing and editing loan documents for commercial real estateclosings and commercial leases Performing title and survey reviewand preparing title commitments and title proformas Communicatingwith all involved parties to obtain necessary information andupdating them regarding status of closings Ensuring that necessaryinformation is in the files and required signatures are obtained sothe closing files can progress according to deadlines Handlingpost-closing matters including preparing title policies,disbursement of funds and recordings Commercial Real EstateParalegal must have at least five years of experience in a law firmor commercial real estate title company and possess a four-yeardegree or paralegal certification. MS Word and Excel proficiency isrequired. Candidates should have strong organizational skills andbe able to prioritize, manage closing deadlines and multitask -this is a successful and busy team!
