POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT POSITION

Instructor, Paralegal Studies The candidate selected for this position will serve as Instructor of Paralegal Studies

QUICK LOOK

This position is a Full-time, 12-month faculty position. This instructor will report to the Associate Dean of Business. This instructor will teach all Paralegal (PARA) courses in the Associate Degree and Diploma. The PARA faculty work together to meet department, division, and college goals. In addition to teaching, faculty advise students to meet department, division and college goals. In addition to teaching, PARA faculty advise students and collaborate with internal and external partners to promote enrollment and retention. Prior teaching experience is a plus, but is not required. Some telework is available. Hybrid and online instruction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Juris Doctorate OR Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies AND work experience as a paralegal OR Master’s Degree in Law or Legal Studies AND work experience as a paralegal

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

(In addition to the minimum qualifications) • Postsecondary teaching experience • Experience supervising the work of paralegals

SALARY/BENEFITS

Salary – $70,928.00 annually.
