Legal Assistant Position Available In DeKalb, Georgia

Description We are looking for a skilled Legal Assistant to join a dynamic personal injury law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a long-term contract position offering a great opportunity to contribute to the firm’s success while expanding your legal expertise. The role involves supporting attorneys and ensuring the smooth progression of cases, with a focus on client intake and managing legal documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage client intake processes, ensuring accurate documentation and communication.
• Organize and maintain case files, including medical records and legal documents.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Coordinate and manage calendars to schedule meetings and track deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, and other parties to gather necessary information.
• Ensure cases are moved efficiently through each stage of the legal process.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys, including drafting correspondence and legal forms.
• Monitor case progress and follow up on pending tasks or required actions.
• Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and case management systems. Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in legal support, preferably within personal injury law.
• Proficiency in managing client intake and handling legal documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• Familiarity with calendar management and scheduling tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of medical records handling and legal processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
