Our prestigious law firm is on the hunt for a highly skilled andexperienced Permanent Paralegal. This position is ideal for anindividual who is passionate about the legal industry and eager towork in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a member of our team,you will be instrumental in providing high-level support to ourattorneys, assisting with case preparation, and ensuring smoothrunning of our office. This role requires a candidate who canmanage a large workload, handle complex legal matters, and maintaina high level of professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research, compile and analyze substantial amounts ofdata, and prepare reports and findings. Review, organize, andsummarize reports and other case materials. Draft legal documentsincluding briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, andlegal memoranda. Assist in the discovery process, including thecollection, review, and production of discovery documents. Managemedical and employment records, ensuring they are organized andreadily available for use. Provide litigation support includingpreparing for depositions, hearings, and trials. Perform customerdiscovery to understand the needs and expectations of our clients.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create and manage databases,presentations, spreadsheets, and correspondence. Maintain andupdate case management system and ensure all time and data isrecorded accurately. Liaise with clients, court officials, andother legal professionals in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree is required; a paralegal certificate ispreferred. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as aparalegal. Proficient in legal research and discovery management.
Adept at reviewing and summarizing complex legal documents.
Experience with drafting legal documents and correspondence isessential. Familiarity with medical and employment records.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word,Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communicationskills. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage large amounts of data, anddeal with complex legal matters. Proven ability to maintain strictconfidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Must be able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
