This role involves managing pre-litigation and litigation tasks for personal injury cases, including those involving serious injuries and wrongful death. The ideal candidate will excel in handling high caseloads independently while maintaining a strong attention to detail and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Handle pre-litigation tasks such as ordering medical records, drafting demand letters, and ensuring timely filings. Manage litigation processes, including case preparation and documentation for civil lawsuits. Coordinate and maintain schedules and deadlines using calendar management tools. Utilize Needles software for case management and tracking. Work with personal injury cases involving serious injuries and wrongful death to ensure thorough and accurate handling. Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to ensure seamless workflow and communication. Conduct legal research and organize case-related documentation. Ensure compliance with Georgia legal standards and procedures. Maintain a proactive approach to managing a caseload of approximately 40 pre-litigation cases and 10-15 litigation cases. Provide regular updates and reports to attorneys regarding case progress. Associate degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. Proven experience in personal injury law and civil litigation. Proficiency with Needles case management software. Strong organizational and calendar management skills. Knowledge of Georgia legal standards and practices. Ability to handle high caseloads independently without micromanagement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Availability to work onsite in Decatur, Georgia, with potential flexibility for a hybrid schedule.
