Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30303 Kanner & Pintaluga, a dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury and property damage law firm, seeks a highly motivated and passionate Litigation Paralegal to join our busy team in Atlanta, GA. Position Summary The Litigation Paralegal will work directly with our attorneys to assist them with ongoing cases and prepare them for trial if needed. In addition, they conduct fact-finding projects and are responsible for maintaining all case files.

Essential Job Functions:

Manage cases through litigation and trial. Review, analyze, and organize documents produced during discovery. Propounding and responding to discovery. Research case related matters, including case law. Create privilege logs and prepare exhibits. Collaborate with attorneys and develop case strategies. Schedule depositions, pre-depositions, meetings, meditations, hearings. Document management using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe. E-file legal documents in Goergia’s E-Portal System. Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences. Draft legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas. Send out correspondence to parties/non-parties via email, regular mail, or certified mail. Communicate with clients. Set up Court Calls or Zoom for hearings. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience/Requirements:

Full-time, 8:30am to 5:30pm, M-F 3 to 5 years of litigation experience required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Paralegal certificate or degree in Paralegal studies preferred. Experience e-filing in both state and federal courts preferred. Proficient with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong legal writing skills. Possesses excellent organization skills and is able to multitask and prioritize workload. Teamwork oriented.
