Litigation Paralegal Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

We are growing fast, and we need aparalegal who can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:

Conduct and follow through the discovery process by

• Drafting discovery requests and responses
• Drafting discovery correspondences
• Drafting subpoenas
• Draft Motions and Pleadings;
• Following up with Clients for discovery materials
• Following up with Clients for discovery needs
• Working with attorneys to ensure all of the informationrequired for the success of the case is obtained
• Assist with the development of checklists and workflowsystems
• Follow up with Legal Assistants to ensure Motions hearings arerequested and calendared;
• Prepare case documents
• Prepare Motion and Trial Exhibits
• Prepare Motion and Trial Notebooks
• Maintain accurate billing
• Conduct filings including electronic filing in State andFederal Courts
• Conduct legal research
• Ensure case documents maintained in the electronic database andclient files
• Regularly conferring with Attorney and Legal Assistant toefficiently and effectively administer cases

Qualifications:

• Do you have at least 8
• 10 years of experience as aParalegal
• You smile when you answer the phone
• You are an amazing document preparer with a sickening degree ofattention to detail;
• You are very good with calendars, e-mail, spreadsheets, wordprocessing, MyCase and the internet
• Your middle name is “No Drama”
• You are an awesome juggler of tasks and can change gearsquickly
• You do not think scanning and copying are “beneath you”
• You are a problem solver and a solution seeker
• You care about making am impactful and positive difference inthe lives of others We love to help people learn and grow.

But we don’t have the timefor that right now. We need a paralegal with experience in familylaw, civil litigation and trial work. The ideal candidate will beable to take initiative on work that needs to be done and completetasks with minimal hand-holding.
