The ideal candidate will have five (5) or more years’ experience in a law firm, providing both billable and non-billable/administrative assistance to multiple attorneys and assist with the following: Drafting deposition notices, extensions, standard discovery requests, HIPAA releases; Scheduling depositions, court reporters, mediations, internal meetings, meetings w/fact witnesses & counsel if applicable; Manage e-discovery process, including data, preservation, collection, and production; Draft & design demonstratives, prepare exhibits for depositions and trials; Analyze damages/claims including reviewing bills and creating spreadsheet comparison; Perform e-billing maintenance: recording time, submitting budgets, managing contested bills, overseeing timekeeper submissions, communicating with accounting department; Prepare, submit and manage third-party requests including medical records requests and open records requests; Retrieve and organize pleadings and other case documents from court dockets, iManage, or litigation support for review by attorneys; Assist with expense reports and compliance with client reporting and billing guidelines; and Other administrative duties as deemed necessary.

Skills/Requirements/Experience :

Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred Working knowledge of court system, e-filing and court filings requirements Proficient in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new technology Experience with the e-discovery process preferred
