Litigation Paralegal 770-Good-Law 5495 Jimmy Carter Boulevard, Norcross, GA 30093 Job Overview We are seeking individuals that are hungry to make an impact and grow in our quickly expanding firm. Our base pay is relatively competitive, however our incentives based on making easily measurable work goals bring the base pay up substantially. Responsibilities include:

Drafting initial pleadings; Drafting motions; Drafting responses to motions; Drafting unliquidated damages demands and post-suit demands; Drafting responses to discovery requests; Drafting 6.4(B) letters and responding to 6.4(B) letters; Obtaining and organizing evidence (photo/video/audio evidence, certified records, etc.); Drafting non-party requests for production of documents; Drafting trial associated pleadings; Scheduling depositions, mediations, court hearings, etc.; Calendaring deadlines; Preparing trial exhibits; Notifying/subpoenaing witnesses; Filing court documents; Disbursing settlements to clients; Communicating with clients. This is an in-office, hourly based position from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with 1 hour lunch break from Monday to Friday.

Compensation:

$45,000.00 – $61,000.00 .

There are 10 days of pre-set Holidays. You are eligible for those pre-set Holidays immediately. The firm will reimburse you for mileage when traveling for work purpose projects. The monthly Paralegal incentive $525.00 – $711.67 depending on your grade and performance.

Additionally:

PTO will be calculated depending on your tenure. The Firm will pay 50% of your health insurance up to a maximum of $280.00 per month. You will be eligible for our Personal and Professional Development Program (“PPDP”). Once you complete 1 year of service, you will be eligible to participate in our 401k plan, a plan that matches 8% if you contribute 12% of your base pay for a total contribution of 20% pre-tax savings of your base pay. After completion of 2 years of service, you will be eligible for a Defined Profit Sharing.
