This role is for a Bilingual Legal Assistant who will focus on affirmative immigration cases, the kinds of cases filed directly with USCIS, like Adjustment of Status, DACA, Naturalization, U Visas, SIJS, Advance Parole, and others. You’ll be on the front lines with clients, helping gather documents, prepare forms, and make sure we never miss a deadline. What You’ll Do ✅ Help Cases Move Forward Smoothly Set up new matters in Clio with the correct templates and deadlines Send Docketwise questionnaires and document checklists to clients Follow up (gently but consistently) to get the documents and info we need Draft forms and assemble filing packets based on firm templates Track renewals, priority dates, and response deadlines in Clio Keep files clean and updated so nothing gets lost in the shuffle Answer client questions or updates over phone, text, or email—mostly in Spanish What We’re Looking For Fluent in Spanish and English —spoken and written Great with details —you triple check your work and spot what others miss Compassionate and calm —you understand our client’s goals and fears Organized and proactive —you keep cases on track without constant reminders Tech-savvy Experience with Clio and Docketwise is a plus—but not required Prior immigration experience is helpful, but we’re open to training the right person What We Offer Starting at $21
