Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our ERISA Insurance Claim Attorneys team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our attorney by drafting and proofreading complex legal documents, managing case files and calendars, coordinating communications with clients and courts, and maintaining the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. Strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage administrative appeals and support litigation processes by preparing legal documents, forms, and correspondence with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Organize and maintain case files, legal documents, and internal databases. Manage case calendars, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely completion of all tasks. File legal documents with courts and government agencies as required. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and other legal professionals. Provide general administrative and clerical support to attorneys and staff as needed. Handling incoming and outgoing mail as well as incoming and outgoing faxes and overnight packages.

Essential Skills & Capabilities:

Strong understanding of litigation procedures and e-filing systems. Experience in Filevine and/or Lead Docket case management software is preferred but not required. Excellent proofreading and administrative skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Zoom. Strong digital document management and organizational skills. Proven ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize effectively. Experience in handling high call volumes and providing top-tier client service is a plus. Technologically savvy with the ability to troubleshoot common office equipment and systems. A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Hours:

8:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.

$55,000 – $65,000 yearly
