Paralegal 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Painted Post, NY 14870 Employment Solutions is hiring for a Paralegal to assist with various legal tasks including document preparation, docket management, research, and communication coordination. This role plays an important part in supporting the efficient management of patent and IP-related activities. Pay rate $24/hr

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00

PM Key Responsibilities:

Assist patent attorneys with managing IP-related correspondence and documentation Coordinate with external law firms and internal technical teams to facilitate the preparation and submission of patent applications and related filings to the USPTO and other global patent offices Prepare drafts of assignments, declarations, and other legal documents for attorney review and filing Ensure all patent filings meet the required format and department standards Maintain and monitor attorney docket systems, generating necessary reports to support patent portfolio management

Required Skills and Attributes:

Strong capability to interpret complex documents, identify relevant issues, and perform effective research and analysis Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team Proficiency with document management software such as MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional communication both written and verbal

Education and Experience Requirements:

Minimum of an Associate degree or equivalent educational background or work experience Preferably a 2-year college degree; 4-year degree is a plus At least one year of related paralegal experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher education preferred Paralegal certification is an advantage
