As a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal, you will work closelywith attorneys to manage litigation cases efficiently using ouradvanced tech tools. You’ll play a crucial role in casepreparation, discovery, and trial support while ensuring seamlesscommunication with clients and legal teams. Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of personal injurylitigation
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, andcorrespondence
- Assist in case investigation, gathering medical records, andorganizing evidence
- Prepare and file legal documents in state and federalcourts
- Coordinate and manage discovery, including propounding andresponding to interrogatories, requests for production, andrequests for admission
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, andopposing counsel
- Organize trial exhibits, prepare trial binders, and assist withtrial preparation
- Maintain case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars
- Utilize case management and legal tech tools to track deadlinesand case progress
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Experience in personal injury law is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and courtrules
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to newlegal technology
- Proficiency in legal case management software (SmartAdvocate aplus)
- Experience with e-filing systems, cloud-based legal tools, anddigital document management
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legalresearch platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and theability to multitask
- Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred
