Job Description
Medical Paralegal Broussard, David, & Moroux 557 Jefferson Street, Lafayette, LA 70501 Broussard, David & Moroux is a top personal injury law firm based in downtown Lafayette with offices in Greater New Orleans that offers potential for advancement, annual salary increases, holiday bonuses, generous holiday schedule and competitive benefits for employees. We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Paralegal to join our team in the Lafayette office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury medical record and case management or similar experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Request, review and organize medical records and bills;
- Serve as liaison between clients and medical providers;
- Enter data from medical records and billing reports into case management software;
- Request and document liens from health insurers and medical providers;
- Assist in organizing medical damage evidence for litigation; and
- Other relevant responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of medical case management or personal injury experience preferred;
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; and
- A passion for fighting to obtain justice by helping people recover from life-changing losses.

- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
