Paralegal 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Holden, MA 01520 We are looking for a dedicated Paralegal to join our client’s law firm in Holden, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work closely with two managing partners in a variety of legal areas, including residential and commercial real estate, estate planning, and probate matters. Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of adapting quickly to new practice materials.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and legal support to the firm’s managing partners across multiple practice areas. Assist in drafting, organizing, and reviewing legal documents related to residential and commercial real estate transactions. Support estate planning processes, including preparing wills, trusts, and other relevant documents. Coordinate and manage probate case filings, ensuring compliance with court requirements. Conduct legal research to support case preparation and decision-making. Maintain detailed and organized records of client matters and case files. Communicate with clients and external parties to gather necessary information and provide updates. Facilitate the completion of closing documents and ensure all required paperwork is in order. Stay informed about relevant laws and practices to enhance support in legal operations. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and task management. Previous experience in a law firm or similar legal environment is preferred. Knowledge of estate planning and real estate law is advantageous. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new legal practices and procedures. Proficiency in legal research and document preparation. Familiarity with probate processes and filings is a plus. Comfortable working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
