You’ll love this job if: You take pride in being organized You are detail-oriented You can have fun at work You can be flexible What you’ll do: Generate and finalize correspondence, and various legal documents to include pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery. Problem solve, think independently, and undertake projects with minimum supervision in a timely and efficient manner. Collaborate with attorney/paralegal team in producing high quality work. Ability to work effectively and professionally with both internal and external clients on all levels. Assist with scheduling hearings, depositions and mediations. Work in a team environment. Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements. Handle processing of invoices and expenses. Handle electronic filings with the various courts. Other duties in compliance with Standards of Quality for Legal Assistant.

You should have:

Ability to problem-solve, think independently and undertake projects with minimum supervision in a timely and efficient manner. Ability to proofread material for contextual, grammatical, typographic, or spelling errors. Ability to transcribe legal documents, correspondence and reports at a level of minimum of 70 wpm. Strong litigation skills with solid knowledge of court procedures and e-filings. Excellent communication and writing skills. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Suite Products. Interpersonal skills to work with other Sandberg Phoenix members in a positive, teamwork environment to service our clients. 2 Year Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies preferred or related business degree.
