LITIGATION PARALEGAL – KC

lawfirm seeking litigation paralegal to provide support for litigationpartners in our aviation practice group. This individual will beresponsible for ensuring the accurate and timely production oflegal documents; e-file documents and pleadings with courts,perform legal research; prepare and submit time records. We are aninternationally recognized aviation law firm and an exceptionallyfriendly, talented and experienced legal team. RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare legal documents, document comparisons, bates labeling,redlining, etc. Electronic filing of court documents Enter dailyattorney timekeeping Scan and maintain client documents, bothmanual and electronic Perform legal research Maintain attorneycalendars Docket court deadlines Prepare new client/matter conflictchecks Answer phones and provide reception relief Coordinate travelarrangements and meeting preparation

ABILITIES AND

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’sDegree, preferred or Paralegal Certification 2 years law firmexperience with litigation Piloting experience a plus

Computerskills:

MS Office and Outlook, required; Tabs Timekeeping,e-billing, NetDocs and Kofax PDF preferred; 65 wpm typing speed
