The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys in workers’ compensation matters, with strong knowledge of relevant laws, procedures, and documentation requirements. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to client service.

Job Description:
Assist attorneys in all phases of workers’ compensation cases, including intake, discovery, hearings, and settlements. Prepare and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, applications, and settlement agreements with administrative agencies and courts. Gather, review, and summarize medical records, employment files, and other relevant documents. Maintain and manage case files in accordance with legal requirements and firm procedures. Coordinate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel. Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filing of all required documents. Schedule depositions, hearings, medical evaluations, and meetings. Assist in trial preparation, including witness coordination and exhibit preparation. Draft correspondence, memoranda, and status reports for attorneys and clients. Ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and timelines.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program preferred, but not required. 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in workers’ compensation or personal injury law. Strong understanding of workers’ compensation laws and administrative procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
