Paralegal Express Employment Professionals Southaven, MS 38671 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law, including Workers Compensation, Securities Law, and Environmental Law. This role requires proficiency in legal research and the ability to assist attorneys in litigation processes. The Paralegal will also provide executive administrative support and manage case files using software. Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and pleadings. Assist attorneys in the litigation process by preparing trial materials and exhibits. Manage case files efficiently using software to ensure all documents are organized and accessible. Maintain communication with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Support the legal team with administrative tasks as needed, ensuring smooth office operations. Experience Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a law firm or corporate legal department. Familiarity with Workers Compensation Law, Securities Law, Environmental Law, and general litigation processes is highly desirable. Strong skills in legal research methodologies and tools. Experience with contract drafting and review is preferred. Proficient in using or similar case management software. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
