My name is attorney Montgomery and I’m a solo practitioner in family law operating primarily out of Buncombe County. My office is co-located with other great attorneys in north Asheville. As a solo attorney I can grow and shape my practice for a work life balance that’s best for me. Check out the website for more- https://montgomerylegalpllc.com/ Role Description This is a 30 hours per week position, $20 an hour for the first 90 days probationary period, $25 thereafter. I am seeking a paralegal who can problem solve. There are plenty of dimensions to the job that are structured and certain tasks are immutable. However, there are plenty of back end processes such as automated workflows, and template populating, that I need assistance with optimizing. There’s a lot of room for creativity in growing the firm, and I look forward to partnering with a dynamic paralegal.
Qualifications:
The only hard and fast qualification is proficiency in Microsoft products. The necessary processes such as how to eFile I can mentor and assist in developing your proficiency. What matters most is an aptitude for learning and a sharp mind for problem solving. It would be a plus if you have- Familiarity with MyCase (or equivalent client management tool) Familiarity with
