February 25, 2025 Full-Time Locations Winston-Salem, NC 27101, USA Job Details Description Womble Bond Dickinson is seeking an experienced trial civil litigation paralegal analyst to join its Mass Torts team in either its Winston-Salem or Greensboro office. This role will involve extensive travel outside NC and due to the training involved, candidates must have an interest in participating in multiple trials per year. Trials typically last three to five weeks; six trials per year is typical with trials back-to-back.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Assist attorneys with drafting and cite-checking legal documents to include pleadings, briefs, motions, subpoenas, and discovery Research cases online and project analysis and extensive use of client litigation management systems E-file large documents in federal and state court Assist attorneys with discovery phase to include expert witness research and summarizing depositions Provide on-site trial support for the purposes of tracking trial exhibits and related responsibilities working with trial lawyers and court personnel.
REQUIREMENTS
: Bachelor’s degree/Paralegal Certificate preferred with three to five years related experience in a mid or large-sized law firm. Excellent writing and interpersonal communications skills Strong project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize project requirements Ability to adapt quickly to evolving circumstances, work at a rapid pace, collaborate in teams, and work long hours throughout the duration of the trial. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a client service focus Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Strong working knowledge of the rules of evidence and trial procedure, strong communication, people and database skills, and proficiency in IPRO and/or Summation.
