The Job:

This job is assisting our estate planning attorney with drafting estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, as well as other legal documents and assisting clients with document review and signing of documents.

The Candidate:

The perfect candidate has a estate planning paralegal experience with drafting legal documents, especially estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts and powers of attorney and knows how to use drafting software such as Wealth Counsel or Interactive Legal Suite. Your background will include significant relevant paralegal work experience and/or a paralegal degree. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills as communication with clients and working closely with them on a routine basis is a must. Working well with others is also required, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook. Experience and knowledge about case management systems such as Clio, MyCase, Filvevine, or other similar system is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Assisting in drafting legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Management of case files and maintaining organized records using document management systems. Communicating with clients and others to provide updates and gather necessary information. Utilizing Microsoft Office tools to prepare correspondence and reports, ensuring accuracy and professionalism. Supporting attorneys in project management tasks as needed. Compensation is negotiable and is based on experience and abilities.
