Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with a strong background in North Carolina personal injury law. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small-firm setting and is ready to make a meaningful impact. Part-time is also available, and remote work is available after a probationary period. Responsibilities
- Drafting pleadings, discovery, letters, and other legal documents
- Managing case files from intake through trial
- Organizing and summarizing medical records and bills
- Preparing trial notebooks and exhibits
- Scheduling and communicating with clients, witnesses, and experts
- Conducting legal and factual research
- Providing general administrative and clerical support Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal degree or NC State Bar paralegal certification
- Have at least 10 years of experience in North Carolina personal injury law
- Be proficient with legal software, including NEOS, Lexis Nexis, Adobe Pro, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, and E-courts filing.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work independently and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
