Paralegal – Mass Tort The Driscoll Firm, LLC 434 Fayetteville Street, Raleigh, NC 27601 The Driscoll Firm, P.C. seeking a Mass Tort Paralegal to be an integral member of a winning team. If you have experience with mass tort, multidistrict litigation, or class action settlement processes, we would love to speak with you! This position is a critical role in a fast-paced, high volume environment that is responsible for managing the day-to-day casework in the Mass Torts department by providing assistance to the Attorney(s). This will be a high-impact position, where you will make a significant impact on the outcome of our client’s claim. You will be tasked with filings, Estate work, drafting and reviewing legal documents, ensuring completion and accuracy. Candidates should have strong experience completing the responsibilities below. Able to work independently Electronic filing in both state and federal courts throughout the United States, Drafting motions, discovery and responding to discovery requests Managing the work of others, provide for initial and ongoing training of staff and otherwise mentor Case Managers Manage litigation calendars and monitor dockets Maintain and update information in an internal database across multiple dockets Manage deadlines and workflow using checklists and practice management software Qualifications Associates Degree and/or Paralegal Certification 3+ years of Mass Tort Paralegal experience is required. Strong understanding of litigation & mass tort terms. Case management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines. Estate experience strongly preferred Ability to manage and meet competing deadlines and priorities Superior organization skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Deadline and detail oriented. Excellent organization and problem-solving skills; must be able to maintain a high case volume Experience using Neos strongly preferred Multi-state federal litigation is a plus.
