The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting attorneys in the preparation and management of personal injury cases. This position requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of legal procedures, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The Personal Injury Paralegal will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the successful resolution of cases. Duties Clio Platform experience a must. Assist attorneys with case preparation by conducting thorough legal research and document review. Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts. Manage case files using iManage software, ensuring all documents are organized and accessible. Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information and documentation. Maintain communication with insurance companies regarding claims and settlements. Support project management tasks related to case timelines and deadlines. Conduct estate planning research as needed for personal injury cases. Utilize LexisNexis for legal research to support case strategies. Ensure compliance with all legal procedures and regulations throughout the case lifecycle. Experience Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal administrative role is preferred. Familiarity with workers’ compensation law is a plus. Strong skills in document review and contract writing are essential. Proficiency in project management techniques to handle multiple cases efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for effective client interaction. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
