We’re looking for someone who doesn’t need hand-holding with basic tasks. If you do not have real experience drafting pleadings, organizing medical records, or preparing a case for trial, this position is not for you. Responsibilities:

Take ownership of personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial under the direction of partner attorney Draft and file pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence Organize and review medical records, bills, and expert reports Communicate directly with clients, insurance companies, and opposing counsel Assist in preparing matters for depositions, mediations, and trial Ensure case deadlines are met without being micromanaged

Required Experience:

Minimum 3 years of personal injury paralegal experience in a NJ law firm Proven ability to manage a full case load independently under the direction of partner attorney Strong drafting skills and familiarity with NJ court rules and deadlines Experience using legal software (We presently use CLIO) Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, or Russian is a plus Detail-oriented, organized, and accountable with strong follow-through A true self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment What we offer: Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package: (Health insurance, Paid time off, sick leave, paid holidays, 401K with company match) Monday-Friday schedule Opportunity to grow with a firm on the rise
