Weare seeking a dynamic and experienced Litigation Paralegal to joinour fast-paced legal team. This is a unique opportunity for ahighly motivated and skilled individual to play an integral role inthe delivery of high-quality legal services. The ideal candidatemust have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role,with a strong background in calendar management, e-filing, draftinglegal documents, and hearing and trial preparation.
Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be expectedto: 1. Manage and maintain attorneys’ calendars, includingscheduling and coordinating meetings, court dates, and deadlines.2. Prepare and file legal documents electronically with the court.3. Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discoveryrequests. 4. Assist in the preparation of cases for trial,including organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, andcoordinating witness schedules. 5. Conduct legal research andgather relevant information to support case preparation. 6. Liaisewith clients, court personnel, and other law firms professionallyand effectively. 7. Review and analyze legal documents andmaterials to identify critical information. 8. Ensure allcase-related documents are properly organized and easilyaccessible. 9. Adhere to firm policies and procedures, as well aslegal and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidatefor the Litigation Paralegal position must possess the followingqualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as alitigation paralegal in a law firm setting. 2. Comprehensiveknowledge of legal principles, legal research techniques, and courtsystem procedures. 3. Proficiency in e-filing in state and federalcourts, case management, and legal research. Candidates must haveexperience filing with NJ courts. 4. Exceptional skills in draftinga variety of legal documents. 5. Strong organizational skills witha keen attention to detail. 6. Excellent calendar managementskills, with the ability to manage multiple schedules and deadlinesefficiently. 7. Proven experience in hearing and trial preparation.8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 9. Ability towork independently and as part of a team. 10. A paralegalcertificate or equivalent legal qualification is highly desirable.
