Nesco Resource has partnered with a prestigious law firm intheir pursuit to hire a Legal Assistant THis is a hybrid role towork 3 days/week in Uniondale and 2 days/week remote, Mon-Fri9am-5pm. This role will support a team of attorneys whose practicesfocus on healthcare law , corporate transactions , andbusiness/commercial matters .
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 5years of law firm experience required. Prior experience inhealthcare law and transactional corporate work is essential.
Proficiency in document organization and review, includingindexing, summarizing, contract creation, stock option plans, andfinancial statement preparation . Strong typing skills (minimum 55words per minute ) with excellent spelling, grammar, andorganizational abilities . Ability to multi-task , workindependently , and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Must be capable of providing comprehensive administrative supportto attorneys.
Primary Responsibilities:
Draft, format, revise, andproofread legal documents and correspondence. Communicateprofessionally with clients and internal teams. Manage andprioritize incoming emails and correspondence. Answer phones andhandle routine administrative duties. Utilize iTimekeep to trackattorney time entries. Submit expense and reimbursement reportsusing Chrome River . Scan, email, and maintain electronicdocuments. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and teamworkin all interactions. $70-$75k
