- Tax Certiorari plays a crucial role in supporting the legal team in managing tax certiorari cases.
This position involves assisting attorneys with the preparation of legal documents, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax law and litigation, with excellent organizational and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents related to tax certiorari cases Conduct legal research on tax laws and regulations Manage case files and maintain organized records Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders Prepare summaries and reports on case status and developments Assist in trial preparation and other litigation-related tasks Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filing of documents Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in tax law or litigation Strong understanding of tax certiorari processes Excellent research and writing skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite Strong attention to detail and organizational skills For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
