• A long-term opportunity with room for professional growth Who You Are You are a seasoned personal injury paralegal with 3 to 5+ years of experience handling pre-litigation and litigation matters from intake through trial preparation and don’t require step-by-step instructions to keep a case moving forward.

You are independent, detail-oriented, proactive and can manage a full caseload with confidence. You understand the importance of both legal precision and empathetic client communication. You should be a continual learner, willing and able to recognize opportunities to improve yourself and our firm. You abhor excuses and just get things done. You are detail-oriented and great with follow-up. Your friends and family agree on your trustworthiness and dependability. This position is open to Staten Island residents only. What You Will Do In this role, you will manage all aspects of a plaintiff’s personal injury case.

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting demand letters, summons and complaints, bills of particulars, discovery demands/responses, and motions
• Managing the litigation calendar, including court dates, depositions, and IMEs
• E-filing legal documents and ensuring court deadlines are met
• Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files in the case management system
• Assisting attorneys with trial prep and general litigation support
• Assist with intake process and speaking with potential clients
• Assist with training other team members This role is for you if you: 1.

Have 3-5+ years of plaintiff’s personal injury paralegal experience 2. Can independently manage litigation files, prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines 3. Are highly organized and detail-oriented 4. Feel genuine empathy and compassion and want to help people that have been injured 5. Are tech-savvy with exceptional computer skills (not just literate) and open to learning new systems. 6. Easily learns and implements new ideas, trainings, and systems. 7. Great at follow-up and follow-through. 8. Live in Staten Island and can work in person This role is NOT for someone who: 1. Lacks 3-5 years experience in personal injury litigation 2. Struggles with deadlines, multitasking, or organization 3. Is not comfortable working with injured clients 4. Is lazy and has trouble getting to work each day on time 5. Does not enjoy being busy each day 6. Has trouble following checklists and systems 7. Has a negative personality 8. Does not like to learn new things and does not believe in self-improvement 9.
