Job Description:
As the Administrative Assistant at Mariners Cove Marine, you will be responsible for overseeing all administrative functions, ensuring efficient office operations, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. ###
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including answering phones, greeting customers, and handling correspondence
- Coordinate and oversee administrative tasks, including scheduling, record-keeping, and filing
- Handle customer inquiries, provide information about services, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, and manage inventory
- Prepare and manage invoices, billing, and financial records
- Support management in planning and executing company events and meetings
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures ###
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a reliable employee or in a similar administrative role
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Quick books experience is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus ###
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the marine or related industry
- Quickbooks experience is a plus
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Knowledge of HR practices and regulations ###
