Job Details Our clientis seeking a highly motivated, experienced paralegal to providesupport for all levels of attorneys in our Product Liabilitypractice area.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing thelifecycle of active matters/cases and monitoring case progress.

Timely ordering, following up, ensuring receipt, and summarizing ofmedical, employment, academic, tax, and insurance company records.

Preparing general motions, pleadings, subpoenas, and otherdocuments as requested. Assisting with the response to discoveryrequests. Assisting with document reviews on eDiscovery platforms.

Organizing factual data in multi-district litigation. Depositionand trial preparation by way of: o Summarizing fact and expertwitness depositions, o Identifying, compiling, researching, andanalyzing information prior to preparing reports and exhibits, oPreparing case files, binders, summaries, and otherpaper/electronic case materials such as witness binders, pre-trialbinders, and compilation of trial exhibits, o Coordinating andpreparing witnesses (fact and expert) for testimony at trial anddepositions. Electronic filing of pleadings such as Appearances,Answers, and all pretrial and dispositive Motions in state andfederal courts. Logging and entering in billable time to Prolawbilling system.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

At least5 years’ experience supporting attorneys in complex litigationareas such as products liability, class actions, multi-districtlitigation, commercial litigation, and personal injury. ParalegalCertificate preferred. Experience with county, state, and federalcourts, including knowledge of CM/ECF filing. Strong attention todetail in all work. Ability to manage multiple files and toprioritize workloads to effectively meet all deadlines. Excellentoral and written communication skills with the ability to interactprofessionally with all levels of management, staff, and clients.

Forward thinking, organized, and a team player. Ability toindependently solve problems and exercise sound judgment withminimal direction. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products -Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with litigationtechnology applications such as eDiscovery Point, Case Notebook,and Relativity. Experience with iManage and Prolaw a plus.
