As a paralegal on the plaintiff’s side, you’ll play a vital role in their medical malpractice/personal injury cases.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with attorneys and other legal staff to manage cases from inception to resolution. Facilitate the gathering and organization of medical records, including coordinating with medical providers and experts. Draft and prepare legal documents, including Summons & Complaints, discovery requests, and other litigation-related correspondence. Effectuate service of process and maintain communication with clients, defense counsel, and other relevant parties. Perform legal research and analysis to support case strategy and trial preparation. Manage court filings, document production, and trial exhibits. Work primarily with one partner and occasionally with one associate, ensuring consistent collaboration and efficient case progression. Utilize Spanish language skills, if applicable, to enhance communication with clients and colleagues (Spanish speaking is a plus).

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Malpractice and/or Personal Injury Paralegal, specifically on the Plaintiff’s side. Strong familiarity with medical records requests, discovery processes, and litigation procedures. Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, attorneys, and other professionals. Prior experience working in a plaintiff-focused personal injury law firm is a must. Spanish speaking preferred
