Legal Administrative Assistant Description:
The Department of Administration, Division of Legal Services is in need of a temporary administrative assistant (preferably with some legal background) to assist our office. Some of the duties include, but are not limited to: Answering phones, etc. Data entry (entering/updating legal cases in our legal case management system). Scanning. Scheduling meetings/hearings. Typing and sending out letters, etc. Records retention (sending legal records off to storage). Various projects on an as needed basis. Must be a team player and be able to multi-task in a busy legal department.
Requirement:
Must be able to multi-task, team player and superior phone and email skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe.
Preferred Skills/experience:
Prefer candidates with prior legal experience. Previous meeting scheduling experience a plus.
